This is a good thing! As you know oil and vinegar do not mix in a natural world. In order to mix them or “emulsify” them you need some type of glue or also called “Gum”. At Provence Kitchen we refuse to use Glue or Gums as it has many side effects to the human body. We do not and will never use Gum in our delicious products!
Actually this is true; we do. Every single bottle is handled by hand in small batches. And every single products are each crafted by hand, one by one. This way we don not keep huge inventory and our delicious products are always fresh.
We mix our Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil for mainly 2 reasons. For one, the final taste is smoother and less bitter. The other reason is that Olive Oil freezes in low temperature. Making it impossible to pour from a bottle. We mix Premium Vegetable Oil to avoid the freezing.
Salad Dressings and Vinaigrettes help with the absorption of certain nutrients in your salads. And most importantly, the Natural ingredients that we use to make our delicious products helps with many aspect of the digestion. The Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a wonderful natural anti inflammatory (among many other benefits). The Natural Vinegar in each dressings that we produce helps with the digestion of fat.
We do not use Sugar and we do use Gum. so you can use our Salad Dressings, Vnaigrettes, Marinades, and Dipping Sauces to Cook, Marinade, Saute, Roast, and even on the grill. It is absolutely delicious. Most gourmet recipes calls for wine or vinegar. Our products have natural vinegar “built-in”. So you don’t have to worry about adding wine or vinegar to your favorite dish.
