If you've never made turkey before and This is going to be your first Thanksgiving to roast a turkey I would Say instead of trying to start with a Whole bird which is really it's heavy It's complicated it's hard to get the Timing right start with turkey Parts buy A bone in turkey breast buy some turkey Legs and roast them on a sheet pan in The oven it's so much easier you won't Have to wield a heavy pan and then when You carve it up no one's going to know The difference
