This week I reviewed Cafe matto an All Day Cafe you could come in the morning It's got a really mellow Vibe it's very Cozy it's great to go in the evenings Because the chef is so seasonally Oriented and he has such fine technique Although it's an all day cafe it's Really a seasonal tasting menu kind of In Disguise because if you look at the Dishes you're like oh Caesar salad but Then it's not a regular Caesar salad he Amps up the flavor every turn the menu Changes every week but here are some of The things that really stood out for us Potato pablano honey heirloom Prince of Orange potatoes Sauced with roasted Green chilies cream and honey it's sweet It's Savory the potatoes are really the Best potatoes you're ever going to have Another dish not to miss is the Blackened Yuba a little bit crispy a Little bit soft and floppy and then it Has a fermented tomato sauce on it it is Delicious the chef de cuisine does all The ice creams and they are superb I've Had a wild cranberry ice cream with salt And olive oil what was so great was Watching the way the menu change and Getting to try new dishes every time It's the kind of place that you just Want to go back to because you never Know what you're going to find
